Dtrack2 software has errors when clicking “start” because one of the “slave” computers are not connecting.

Background:

A sudden and extended (over an hour) power outage was experienced on campus, which took the CAVE equipment offline. After restarting the Dtrack2 server and both of the

Dtrack2 Joystick Error

Solution

A restart of the DTrack server (in the server rack downstairs) tends to help this. Also, unplugging the USB dongle (behind the center screen on top of the small rack in the CAVE) and plugging in may help.

If one of the Dtrack cameras goes missing, then try this:

	* Power off and then power on the ART hubs (there are 2 of them) that are behind the front screens in the CAVE. They are on a small server rack.
	* Use DTrack2 to reboot the ART controller by using the menu: DTrack2 >

Symptoms:

	* Dtrack2 is open on the head node computer
	* Dtrack2 is running (the various cameras are visible)
