====== If one or more projectors do not respond to the Crestron. ====== (These are notes after the troubleshooting call with Lyle Weber from Mechdyne on July 26, 2018 at 10am). The best solution is: * Pulling the power cable on the projects, and waiting 3 minutes before plugging them back in. We tried unplugging for 30 seconds, but that was not enough. * Once you plug it back in, go back to the service menu and "Connection Status" tab. * Click the checkbox next to the desired projector, and then click "Connect" to try to get the Creston to find that unit again. * **Note**: It may take about 1 to 2 minutes for the Crestron to show a green box next to the projector (showing that it is communicating with the Crestron). If you do not see a change, then try exiting that screen and reloading the connection status screen again. * **Note**: The Lamp Hours will not appear on the Display Menu for about 5 to 10 minutes (even after the projector is back in communication with the crestron again). You can confirm whether the Creston is connected to the projector by: * Access the Crestron Service Menu * In the Service Menu, then touch the "Connection Status" tab. * There will be a list of projectors and green boxes on the left if they are connected. If anything is diconnected, then there will be a red box. Mechdyne & I discovered the solution above after trying these steps (to no avail): * Pulling the power cable on the Creston unit on the rack. * Using the "Crestron Tools" software for Windows. * Pulling the power cable on the projectors. == What the "Connection Status" tab looks like: ==
